Tree Planting Project —Where the Road Opens into Peace
We are creating more than a beautiful landscape—Trees are among the most valuable elements we can add to a landscape. They bring beauty, shade, shelter, and a sense of permanence, while creating habitat for birds, pollinators, and wildlife. Trees help clean the air, protect soil and water, store carbon, and soften the built environment. At the Global Women’s Center for Peace and Enlightenment, a thoughtfully planted canopy will transform the grounds into a living, welcoming landscape—one that grows more beautiful and vibrant with every passing year. Here is a vision of the fulfillment of the tree-planting initiative.
As you enter the campus of The Global Women‘s Center for Peace and Enlightenment, a quiet sense of welcome begins to unfold. Two natural-stone walls frame the driveway with simple elegance, opening onto gardens alive with ornamental grasses and flowers in every color of the rainbow. Their blossoms brighten the path and perfume the air, while native shrubs offer shifting hues and gentle fragrance through the seasons. Beyond them, dogwood trees rise as the first gentle refrain of the journey, their branches beckoning you onward.
The road then curves toward the buildings, where Norway spruces, Red Sunset maples, and river birches line the roadway. Farther ahead, cherry blossoms soften the view, guiding both the eye and the road toward the main building. At the corners of the fences surrounding each building, native dogwood trees answer those at the entrance—like a familiar refrain to create a graceful welcome. With every turn, color, fragrance, and the soft rhythm of the landscape gather around you, until arriving feels less like reaching a destination and more like entering a place of stillness and peace.
Each price includes the tree, its delivery, expert installation with onsite equipment, enriched topsoil and soil amendments, and a finishing ring of black mulch at its base.
